Dielectric materials like paper, glass, plastic, textiles, synthetics, etc, are by their nature particularly exposed to attraction and sticking phenomena caused by friction (specifically because of their capacity for accumulation of electrostatic charges). These materials cannot be freed of parasite elements by simply brushing or vacuuming. Brushes simply accentuate the sticking phenomenon and make dust removal impossible because they cause extra electrostatic charges by friction. The principle of the ECOVAC 4 ionising dust removal system combines the effects of brushing, suction and the elimination of the existing static charges, making effective cleaning possible. The ECOVAC 4 system The ECOVAC 4, the most compact model in our range, represents the ideal dust removal system when size is a decisive factor. The design of its suction nozzle combines efficiency and compactness making the ECOVAC 4 easy to install on your machines. Although it has completely different geometry from conventional extraction cases, this appliance retains powerful aeraulic properties. Its characteristics (low pressure loss and large air passage cross section), allow a large volume of air to be moved without increasing its speed of passage. Its mechanical properties are not neglected either. The construction from 15/10 stove enamelled steel sheet provides the unit with excellent stiffness, and protection against crushing and corrosion. Two ECA 88 B type capacitive electrodes, placed on either side of suction slots, constitute the ionising function of the ECOVAC 4. The brush, in the central position, has special bristles to suit the application. A high tension supply generator and a vacuum unit complete the system. The vacuum unit is dimensioned to suit to the working width.
