GEF

Product catalog summary
Overview: The GEF model is an integrated unit consisting of an electromagnetic clutch and brake housed within a case. It is designed to be self-supporting and can be configured in 17 different versions based on installation requirements. The standard supply voltage is 24 V DC, with other voltages available upon request.
Features: The GEF unit is engineered to minimize response times, enhancing throughput rates. This can be further improved with static inverters and overvoltage cards. The unit features low residual momentum and inertia, and is equipped with a terminal box providing P-44 equivalent protection. Flange versions are compatible with IEC and EU standard motors.
Assembly Instructions: When assembling shafts and pulleys, care should be taken to avoid forceful impacts. Special shafts and flanges are available, and the terminal box can be positioned on the opposite side if required.
Technical Specifications: The GEF model is available in sizes ranging from 0.6 to 13, with maximum torque capacities from 8 Nm to 130 Nm and maximum RPMs from 1,500 to 4,000. Clutch and brake power consumption varies by size, with inertia and mass increasing correspondingly. Detailed dimensions and specifications are provided for each size.
Additional Information: The document includes a notice that the supply voltage is standardized at 24 V DC, with other voltages available on demand. Keyways conform to DIN 6885 standards.

ELECTROMAGNETIC CLUTCHES AND BRAKES Type GEF Features The GEF model is a unit composed of electromagnetic clutch and brake mounted inside a case, contributing a self-supporting group, which can be combined in 17 different versions depending on the type of installation you want to perform (see box). The clutch and brake working current draw. The standard supply voltage is 24 V DC. There also specific voltages on demand. This arrangement makes it possible to reduce response times, which allows working with very a high throughput rate. This rate may be increased with static inverters and overvoltage cards manufactured by our company. The unit has a very small residual momentum and a low momentum of inertia. The supply was arranged directly (with terminal box) with a protection equivalent to the P-44 in all versions. The flange versions are suitable for motors in accordance with IEC and EU standards. CONSTRUCTIVE FORMS Assemble the shafts, pulleys, etc. gently, without forcing or hit them. 1 BRAKE CLUTCH • Terminal box on opposite side. • Special shafts and flanges.
