Sic is a durable and heat resisting filter material (max 2000C°). The EHC PF filters reduce heavily the discharges of all exhaust particles (soot, PM, etc), gases (CO, No²) and smell (HC). The filter is built of a series of Sic monoliths. Each canal is alternately closed, at the inlet or outlet side. The exhaust temperature needs to be above 300°C. If it’s not sure that this is the case it is necessary to monitor the temperature with a logger. If the temperature is to low the self regenerative filters are not the solution. In this case we can offer the EHC HT filter as a solution.
