General: The mobile cleaning unit (C I P = Cleaning-In-Place) is suitable for cleaning production installations, without the need to enter into the vessels or to dismantle the pipe installation. There is a difference between cleaning vessels and cleaning pipe installations. In general, each production installation requires a cleaning system, suitable for cleaning each vessel separately, and the pipe installation centrally. Principles and requirements of the central C I P installation: There are two types of cleaning installations: Installations with only one vessel - where the cleaning water at the end of the cleaning process goes to waste. Installations with a number of vessels - where care is taken that only a minimum quantity of water goes to waste. In principle, the cleaning process is divided into a number of stages (based on food industry): Cleaning with first water, at a temperature of 30° - 40° C. Cleaning Unit Mobile CIP Cleaning unit: ■ The cleaning unit is, in fact, a cleaning installation of one vessel, which can be moved from one place to another, and this way saves on pipes for returning water. Hot water for the unit has to come from Main tank with a capacity of 200 Liters. ■ Centrifugal pressure pump -7.5 HP. ■ Ejector (for suction of the return water to the CIP unit) ■ Electric heating element -3.0 kw. ■ Low level electrode (to protect the pump and heater). Description of the cleaning process: ■ Cleaning of the vessels / pipes with tap water, in order to remove product remains. At this stage, do not return the water to the C I P tank. Filling the cleaning tank with hot water + adding the detergent to the water, ■ Opening the valve in the direction of the pipes / vessels that have to be cleaned. ■ Starting the cleaning process. ■ At the end of the cleaning process the discharge valve is opened.
