Pneumatic Needle GrippersOPT OPT is a needle gripper suitable for handling non-rigid and highly porous material (primarily textiles). Advantages • Extremely short cycle time for high speed applications • High needle inclination for safe part clamping • Sturdy and robust housing suitable for heavy applications • High repeatability • Long service life Air Consumption Theoretical Recommended Per Cycle thrust for each Workpiece Weight Repeatability (Dual Stroke) needle at 6 bar Weight* Opening Working Noise Emission Pressure Temperature (Sound Pressure) * Recommended workpiece weight is calculated for force-fit gripping with a static Coefficient of Friction of 0.15 and a Safety Factor of 3 against workpiece slippage.
