The Chameleon 103 Series combines three different LED visual signals in one compact housing. Three colors. Two operating modes. One light. The Chameleon eliminates the need for multiple lights in low profile, multistatus indication, reducing installation time and costs. And with its NEMA 4X rating, the Chameleon is able to operate in the harshest of environments. The 103I features a unique on-board processor with an internal jumper, which allows the single unit to function as either a steady or flashing visual signal. Any one, or all three lights, can easily be activated by either a PLC or contact closure. The first light activated will illuminate either steady or flashing. When a second light is activated, the Chameleon cycles between the two colors, and activation of a third light causes it to cycle between all three colors: red, amber, and green or red, amber, and blue. Models cycle between three colors – red, green & amber or red, blue & amber The 103 model performs similar to the 103I, but all signal operation in the 103 is controlled directly through a PLC’s ladder logic, rather than through the Chameleon’s internal processor.
