The PMX-24 signal conditioner is designed to convert potentiometer input signals into standardised output signals such as 0...10 V or 4...20 mA. It ensures optimal signal performance through signal conditioning and electrical isolation. The device offers various configurable current and voltage outputs, which can be set via DIP switches. It features low residual noise and high interference resistance, allowing for longer cable use without signal degradation.
The PMX-24 addresses the issue of cable breaks by integrating a detection system that activates when the sensor cable is completely cut. This system disconnects outputs, triggers a red ERROR LED, and activates an alarm switch output for additional actions. The detection works for potentiometers up to 20 kΩ.
The output signal can be configured by adjusting DIP switches on the board. The device supports various output settings, including 4...20 mA, 0...10 V, 0...5 V, ±10 V, and ±5 V. Instructions for setting the zero point and gain are provided to ensure accurate signal output.

Open the catalog to page 1Signal conditioners are used for potentiometers to convert an input signal into a different proportional output signal. These are often standardised values such as 0...10 V or 4...20 mA, needed for ordinary connection to controls. A signal conditioning and an electrical isolation ensures an optimal signal performance. The PMX-24 offers various current and voltage outputs, e.g. 4...20 mA, 0...10 V, 0...5 V, ±5 V, ±10 V, which can be configured easily via DIP switch (switch on the board). The signal output is electrically isolated and characterised by extremely low residual noise, free of any spikes....
