Safety Shut-Off Valves

The ECONEX SVB series gas safety shut-off valves feature a powerful solenoid for higher operating pressures and flow capacities. They are approved to EN161 and EMC certified, suitable for manual and automatic control of gases from the first, second, and third families, and air. These valves can be installed on industrial, atmospheric, and forced draught burners.

Flow Chart

The flow chart provides details on maximum operating pressure differential, pipe size, orifice diameter, coil type, model, and current load rating for various gases including natural gas, town gas, propane, butane, and LPG.

Installation and Operating Instructions
  1. Ensure all operating data on the valve label matches the system.
  2. Remove protection plugs before installation.
  3. Ensure the pipeline is free from impurities and aligned with the valve body.
  4. Apply sealing material only to the external thread of the pipeline.
  5. Respect the flow direction indicated on the valve body.
  6. Install the valve horizontally or vertically, but not with the coil turned downwards.
  7. Use a proper wrench for installation, not the magnet as a lever.
  8. The equipment is maintenance-free.
