Butterfly valves from the GD and GDH series are designed for industrial applications, specifically for regulating warm air and exhaust combustion gases. Specifications

Temperature Range: GD3 and GDH3 up to 350°C, GD4 and GDH4 up to 450°C, GD6 and GDH6 from 350°C to 1000°C.
Materials: Valve body made of grey cast-iron GG25 or stainless steel AISI 304. Valve disk options include steel St.37, grey cast-iron GG25, and stainless steel AISI 304. Spindle materials include steel St.37, AISI 420S37, AISI 303, and AISI 321.
Leakage Rate: 1% of Kv at 90°, with options for reduced leakage rates using ledge seats and flexible sealing.
Flow Rate (Kv): Detailed flow rates are provided for diameters ranging from DN 50 to DN 500 at various valve opening angles.
Drive Torque: Torque requirements are specified for different diameters with an inlet pressure of 100 mbar.

Installation Guidelines

Ensure piping connection flanges are parallel and clean.
Use expansion joints to balance axial forces.
Install the valve in a closed position and verify functionality.
For valves DN 200 and larger, install horizontally.
Ensure correct orientation of the valve disc relative to flow direction.

Maintenance Recommendations

Adjustments to the stuffing box packing and sealing ring can be made during operation to ensure tightness.
Keep the valve fully open during high-pressure start-up to prevent pressure drops.
Avoid insulating the pipe near the sealing area.
