Gli inquinanti contenuti nell'aria aspirata dallo SCRUBBER ecochimica® vengono assorbiti per reazione chimica tramite lavaggio con opportuni reagenti di abbattimento,in composti non-inquinanti. Lo scrubber consiste in un’unica torre verticale di lavaggio suddivisa in due stadi. La parte inferiore della torre di lavaggio e costituita dalla vasca di accumulo delle soluzioni di ricircolo,divisa in due sezioni (acida e basica/ ossidante) mediante una paratia stagna. Una sezione della vasca contiene il reagente acido, mentre l’altra contiene il reagente basico/ossidante. Nel primo stadio l’aria viene immessa dal basso tramite la bocca d’ingresso e sale nella torre passando sulla superficie del liquido di lavaggio. Nella torre subisce il lavaggio con la soluzione acida in contro-corrente a bassa velocita e su di un’ampia superficie di contatto. L’aria lavata, prima di accedere al secondo stadio, attraversa un opportuno demister, separatore di gocce, posto sopra i riempimenti del primo stadio, che elimina gli effetti di trascinamento del reagente acido dal primo al secondo stadio. Alla base del secondo stadio un sistema che permette all’aria proveniente dal primo stadio di accedere alla sezione successiva di trattamento, impedendo allo stesso tempo alla soluzione di ricircolo (basica e/o ossidante) del secondo stadio di scendere nel primo stadio. La soluzione, si deposita sul fondo del secondo stadio e da qui, tramite tubazione, scende alla vasca, alla base della torre. Nel secondo stadio l’aria viene trattata come nel primo stadio, ma con un reagente basico e/o ossidante. L’aria viene veicolata attraverso lo scrubber tramite un ventilatore esterno e, una volta depurata, in uscita dal secondo stadio, passa attraverso un secondo demister, che evita il trascinamento di gocce di soluzione di lavaggio, e viene infine emessa in atmosfera. TYPE OF EQUIPMENT 2 stage treatment Vertical Tower OPERATING PRINCIPLE: The two-stage scrubbers produced by Ecochimica® are designed in order to assure an optimal abating efficiency and guarantee that emissions to the atmosphere respect the law limits. The pollutants present in the air which is aspired by the SCRUBBER Ecochimica® are absorbed, via chemical reaction s with suitable abating reagents, into non-pollutant compounds. The scrubber consists of a single vertical washing tower divided into two separated stages. The lower part of the washing tower is composed of a washing solution re-circulating. tank divided into two sections (the acid one and the basic/oxidant one) by a seal bulkhead. One section contains the acid reagent, while the other one contains the basic/oxidant reagent. In the first stage the air is introduced from the bottom inlet and rises through the tower passing over the washing liquid surface. Inside the tower the air is washed in counter-current and at low speed by the acid solution through a wide contact surface. The washed air, before entering the second stage, it passes through a suitable demister,alveolar droplet separator installed over the packing material of the first stage which reduces the liq uid acid reagent dragging phenomena from the first stage to the second one. On the base of the second stage there is a system which allows the air coming from the first stage to enter to the following treatment section, avoiding in the meantime that the re-circulating solution (basic and/or oxidant) from the second stage can fall into the first stage. The solution, settles on the bottom of the second stage and through a pipeline it goes down to the tank at the base of the tower In the second stage the air is treated as in the first one, but with a basic and/or oxidant reagent. The air is drawn through the scrubber by an external fan and, once it has been treated, exiting from the second stage, it passes through a second demister (which avoids the liquid dragging phenomena) and finally is emitted to the atmosphere.
