8D Series & 8533 Series 230V Connector 230 Volt EN3645 and EN2997 Derived Connectors The use of higher voltage to reduce cable weight has lead to the development of double voltage connectors. Robust design and materials In high altitude un-pressurized areas, higher voltages increase electrical partial discharges: Ã Risk of contact short circuits. Our 230V connector avoids this risk! Standard connector: Partial discharge leading to possible short circuit 230V connector: No short circuit ! Specific T and V clocking to avoid mating with a non 230V qualified counterpart. Flexible offering Available in standard watertight and hermetic connectors with the same performance. Available in composite and stainless steel shells.
