What is PressPro? PressPro are standardized, compact press control blocks for hydraulic press applications, which are realized with conventional directional control valves as well as slip-in cartridge valves. Eaton provides these blocks in the range from size 6 up to 63. Up to size 32 these blocks are realized with conventional directional control valves. Larger blocks are based on the Slip-in cartridge valve principle. The press control PressPro are developed for forming applications according to DIN EN 693:2011-11. The following circuits represent two examples of the PressPro control. Up to size 32 conventional 4-3 directional valves are implemented for the directional function. For higher flow slip-in cartridge valves fulfill that function. For all PressPro control blocks the safety concept is identical, but can be extended by secondary functions depending on the specific application.
