With 25 styles of IP67/69k operators, multiple shrouds and guards, self-monitoring contact blocks, and unique illumination devices, Eaton 22mm emergency stops offer reliable protection while carrying numerous global certification ratings. Eaton 22mm emergency stops meet multiple industry safety standards. These durable buttons can be used in functional safety applications up to Category 4, PLe or Sil 3 and meet several product safety standards for emergency stops including: IEC 60947-5, ISO 13850, IEC 60204, and NFPA 79. Compact Style Also available in a monolithic design, the C22 emergency stop provides a simple, efficient installation and increased safety while in operation The all-in-one design of the C22 emergency stop has built-in contacts that eliminate the need for self-monitoring contacts blocks. Self-Monitoring Contact Block The M22 self-monitoring contact block offers additional safety in emergency stop applications. This device contains an additional normally open contact that uses a unique plunger to monitor whether the contact block is still attached to the operator. In the event that the contact block detaches from the emergency stop button, the self-monitoring contact block opens the circuit and stops the system - providing an extra safety measure.
