The Type I Solids Flow Meters have been redesigned to handle larger flow rates by doubling the depth and height of the standard meter. The radius of the pan is also doubled to accommodate larger particles. The meter can be installed in two orientations: Type I (open) and Type II (enclosed), with further details available in the Type II catalog.

Volumetric Capacity
The CentriFlow® HDM meters are designed for both reverse and in-line flow with varying capacities:
  • Reverse Flow: HDM-24 ranges from 3.75 to 75.00 ft³/min, HDM-48 from 7.50 to 150.00 ft³/min, and HDM-72 from 11.25 to 225.00 ft³/min.
  • In-Line Flow: HDM-24 ranges from 37.50 to 225.00 ft³/min, HDM-48 from 75.00 to 450.00 ft³/min, and HDM-72 from 112.50 to 675.00 ft³/min.

Material Specification
The meter body and casing are constructed from 304 Stainless Steel, with product contact surfaces made from Stainless Steel. The pans are typically welded, one-piece constructions with optional coatings. Flow surfaces can be customized, and the body can be made from either 304 or 316 Stainless Steel.

Application and Features
The CentriFlow® HDM Meter is designed for high-density, high-flow rate applications, suitable for use with vibratory conveyors or belts. It features robust construction for increased flow capacity, making it ideal for processing mine tailings, rapid loading/unloading of transport vehicles, and other high-density applications. CentriFlow HDM Type I: Heavy Duty-1

The CentriFlow® HDM Meter is a bulk solids mass flow meter specially designed for high density products with very high flow rates. As a Type I Meter, the HDM can be utilized for any high-density, high-flow rate application in which the product is being fed by vibratory conveyors or belts. As with the standard meter, the HDM can be oriented in both the In-Line Flow and the Reverse Flow orientation. The main difference is that the HDM Meter is designed to have a much more robust construction, including an increased height and depth for increased flow capacity. Its robust construction makes it perfect for installation in a variety of applications, including the processing of mine tailings; the rapid loading and unloading of trucks, railcars or shipping containers; or any installation where flow rates, bulk densities, or both are exceptionally high. 1. Standard meter parts including the meter body and casing are constructed entirely out of 304 Stainless Steel. 2. Standard product contact surfaces such as the Measurement Pan and Tangential are constructed of Stainless Steel. 3. Stainless Steel Pans are typically of a welded, one-piece constructions and can be manufactured with a variety of coatings as well. 4. Many options for flow surfaces are available and can be substituted for the standard flow surfaces . The meter body and casing can be manufactured out of either 304 or 316 Stainless Steel. • Both the depth and the height of a standard meter have been doubled in order to accommodate much larger flow rates. • The radius of the Pan is doubled to accommodate larger particles and higher flow rates. • The meter can be installed in two different orientations depending on the installation location for the meter.
