The ACURO™ AR62/AR63 series is a heavy-duty magnetic absolute encoder designed for demanding environments. It offers a wide temperature range, high shock and vibration resistance, and submersible IP69k sealing.

Specifications
Electrical: The encoder operates on a supply voltage of 10-30VDC or 17-30VDC. It complies with EMC standard EN 61326 and requires an external protective circuit. The resolution is 12-bit for single-turn and up to 16-bit for multi-turn, with an absolute accuracy of ±0.6° and repeatability of ±0.2°.
Mechanical: The housing diameter is 58 mm with a mounting depth of 32 mm. It supports shaft diameters of 3/8” or 10 mm and offers synchro clamping or 2.5” square flange mounting options. The protection class is IP67 or IP69k, with a maximum shaft load of 300 N axially and radially.
Environmental: The encoder can operate at shaft speeds up to 5000 rpm, withstands vibrations up to 200 m/s², and shocks up to 2000 m/s². The operating temperature range is -40 °C to +100 °C.

Electrical Connections
The encoder supports various interfaces including BiSS/SSI, CANopen, and Analog. Each interface has specific pin configurations and signal assignments.
