Product catalog summary
Pressure Reducing Valve Overview
The PZM2 is a direct-operated, spool-type pressure reducing valve with a modular design, compatible with ISO 4401 standards. It is normally open, allowing hydraulic fluid to flow freely until the inlet pressure exceeds the spring-set value, at which point it reduces the outlet pressure.

Specifications
  • Maximum operating pressure: 320 bar
  • Maximum flow rate: 20 l/min in controlled lines, 30 l/min in free lines
  • Temperature range: Ambient -20°C to +50°C, Fluid -20°C to +80°C
  • Fluid viscosity range: 10 to 400 cSt
  • Fluid contamination degree: ISO 4406:1999 class 20/18/15
  • Mass: 0.7 kg

Mounting and Performance
The valve mounts on an ISO 4401-02-01-0-05 surface and is designed for high sensitivity with reduced drainage flow. It features internal drainage to the tank line and protects the secondary circuit from pressure surges.

Identification and Adjustment
  • Seals: NBR for mineral oils, FPM for special fluids
  • Pressure adjustment ranges: 4-32 bar, 5-80 bar, 10-200 bar, 25-250 bar
  • Adjustment screw for pressure increase: Rotate clockwise

Hydraulic Fluids
Use mineral oil-based fluids (HL or HM type) with NBR seals. For HFDR type fluids, use FPM seals. Consult technical support for other fluid types. Avoid fluid temperatures above 80°C to prevent degradation.

Dimensions and Components
  • Mounting surface includes sealing rings
  • Hex adjustment screw with lead-sealing hole
  • Pressure gauge port: 1/4” BSP
  • Plastic cap for sealing

PRESSURE REDUCING VALVE DIRECT OPERATED WITH VARIABLE ADJUSTMENT SERIES 10 MOUNTING SURFACE OPERATING PRINCIPLE — The PZM2 valve is a three-ports pressure reducing valve, direct operated, spool type, made as modular version, with ports according to the ISO 4401 standards and can be assembled quickly, without use of pipes, under the ISO 4401-02 solenoid valves. — The PZM2 is a normally open valve. The hydraulic fluid flows freely in the pressure line. When the inlet pressure in P exceeds the value set by the spring, the valve opens the outlet port to the tank line until the outlet pressure has been reduced to the set value. — The valve construction provides good adjustment sensitivity with reduced drainage flow. The drainage to the tank line is internal. — The three-ports design provides protection of the secondary circuit from pressure surges since it allows a reverse flow from the actuator to the tank line.
