Technical InformationThe EWM* family of electronic cards is designed for closed-loop control systems, commonly used in industrial applications. These cards are suitable for DIN EN type 50022 rail mounting and feature digital electronics with user-friendly software for easy startup, even by non-specialized staff. The cards are compatible with actuators that have built-in sensors based on the magnetostrictive principle, providing a comprehensive package.
Positioning ControlFive different cards are available for positioning control, ranging from simple preset devices to complex axis cards with Profibus communication and SSI sensors. Users can select based on the required position accuracy.
Axes Synchronism ControlTwo versions are available: a basic master/slave concept for two axes with an analogue signal, and a more sophisticated version that can control up to 24 synchronized axes using Profibus protocol communication and SSI sensors.
Pressure ControlTwo card versions are available for pressure control. The P-AA card is used for piloting proportional valves for pressure reducing or relief control, embedding the amplifier for direct
valve connection. The PQ-AA card, when coupled with a suitable directional valve, allows for pressure control in closed-loop during static conditions and flow/velocity control in open-loop during movement.
Speed ControlThe RL card facilitates fast/slow speed control and is user-friendly.
Custom ControlThe PID card is fully customizable for complete control of parameters and values.

Input and Output SpecificationsInputs can be analog (±10 volt, 4÷20 mA) or digital (Profibus, binary). Feedback is available in analog (±10 volt, 4÷20 mA) or digital (SSI, PLC) formats. The maximum output current is 2 A, with analog outputs of ±10 volt or 4÷20 mA.
