BALANCE OF 2015 SPRINGTIME EVENTS After the Trade Shows IMTEX (Bangalore) and TIMTOS (Taipei) that we talked about in recent DUPLOnews, we have been to visit two important fairs in strategic markets, CIMT in Beijing and FEIMAFE in Sao Paolo. As always, these events have been notable to meet both the local and international players to collect signals of how the M/T sector in these markets is going to move in near term. In CIMT (20-25 April) we saw how Chinese companies are investing heavily in technological improvement of their products, moving away from the traditional approach based on mass production of simple machines. Evidently, moving in an economy that cannot grow up quickly as in the past lead to focus on the technical proposal, in addition to price enquiry, in order to expand the possibilities of succeeding in a market where customers are increasingly demanding. In this scenario, Duplomatic takes on a role even more important, being recognized as a strategic partner capable of offering not only a product with high quality standards, but also a valuable technical support in the process of improving the performance of the machine. As evidence of this, on some high-end applications (i.e. VTL in the pickand-place configuration) were installed Duplomatic turrets of new Direct Drive generation (DM family). Indicazioni diverse sono arrivate dalla FEIMAFE (18-23 Maggio) in cui la crisi in cui versa l’economia brasiliana da metà 2014 non sembra allentare la presa e, insieme alla sfiducia generalizzata verso l’attuale Governo, rende gli operatori del settore molto meno propensi ad investire sullo sviluppo tecnologico delle macchine.
