The absorbers are made from polypropylene micro fibres and are manufactured using the melt-blown process. They ensure a high absorption capacity of up to 17 times the material's own weight, easy handling and generate no abrasion particles or dust during use. Furthermore, they are characterised by their long service life, high resis- tance and tear strength as well as their optimum liquid storage. The non-woven fabric binders are environmen-tally friendly. > Tests The extra absorbent non-woven fabrics made from micro fibres and the granulate binder are tested by the MPA, Dortmund and the Hygiene Institute, Gelsenkirchen.
