Operating conditions Safety cabinets according to EN 14470-2 must be con-nected to an industrial venting system that leads to and discharges in a safe place outdoors. The cabinet must have a tenfold air exchange rate, (at least 120-fold air exchange for low toxicity, toxic and very toxic gases), the pressure drop must not be greater than 150 Pa. > Manufacturing controls Each cabinet is tested for perfect quality and function dur-ing the assembly process and before delivery. Production is regularly monitored, checked and assessed within the scope of our quality management system according to DIN EN ISO 9001. Apart from our own in-house checks, production of the safety cabinets is also continuously monitored by accredited inspection bodies. All details of the series product are checked to ensure they are the same as the tested type. Safety cabinets for pressurised gas cylinders Pressurised gas cylinders containing toxic, self-igniting, flammable or fire-causing gases are necessary for many processes in the laboratory. In case of leak or fire, the pressurised gas cylinders are a substantial potential hazard and must be safely housed according to the legal requirements and regulations. As an alternative to a centralised gas supply or outdoor storage, pressurised gas cylinders may also be stored in working spaces in safety cabinets according to EN 14470-2. DΜPERTHAL offers a complete range of cabinets for storing pressurised gas cylinders in working spaces, as well as outdoors. The cabinets comply with the current relevant standards and provide the operator with the necessary security. > Delivery period Delivery takes place approx. 2-3 weeks after the order is placed. The delivery periods in our order confirmation are binding. The products are delivered on a special truck by specially trained personnel.
