Sa souplesse permet d’obtenir une surface de contact importante avec les elements de la catenaire, meme en cas d’oscillations de la perche telescopique (vent, lors du passage des trains...) The objective of the double arch universal switch rod head, called TPU2, is to provide the passage of short-circuit current between the overhead wire and the rail linking cable. Its flexibility enables it to achieve a large contact area with the parts of the overhead wire, even when the telescopic pole is subject to oscillation due to wind, passage of trains, etc. La forme de la tete de perche permet la pose sur des conducteurs ou des armements tubulaires de 010,5 a 49,5 mm, ainsi que sur deux fils de contact en 1500 Volt. The shape of the switch rod head enables it to be fitted onto cables and tubular sheathing from 0 10,5 to 49,5 mm, as well as on twin 1500 Volt contact wires. La mise en oeuvre est realisee par simple pose sur le conducteur ou I’armement tubulaire de la catenaire, elle est rapide et sans action combinee. It is simply used by placing it over the cable or tubular sheathing of the overhead wire, which is quick to do and involves no associated actions. Filetage adapte aux perches isolantes SNCF. Utilisable notamment avec cables de 40 et 95 mm2 (ou autres selon reseaux). Thread is suitable for SNCF insulating poles. It can be used with 40 and 95 sqmm cables. Si la tresse subi un court-circuit, et qu’elle est endommagee, elle peut etre remplacee grace au kit de remplacement, en option, ref. 82813 (boTte comprenant 10 kits "tresse + visserie").
