The SLICE MICRO and SLICE NANO are miniature data recorders designed by Diversified Technical Systems for various testing applications, including aerospace, automotive safety, and biomechanics. These systems are modular, allowing for custom configurations with 3-channel sensor input SLICEs that can be stacked to create a standalone data acquisition system.
- Modular design: SLICE modules can be stacked and daisy-chained to create the desired feature and channel combination, supporting up to 24 channels per stack and thousands per test.
- Compact and lightweight: SLICE MICRO and NANO are extremely small and lightweight, making them ideal for space-constrained applications.
- High-speed recording: Capable of recording up to 120 ksps/channel with 7 GB non-volatile flash memory.
- Sensor support: Compatible with various external sensor interfaces, including 3- and 4-wire bridge, MEMS sensors, strain & load, voltage, temperature, and digital/frequency.
- Compliance: Meets NHTSA, FAA, ISO 6487, and SAE J211 data acquisition practices.
SLICEWare software provides tools for sensor information storage and data collection, featuring automatic sensor assignment, channel diagnostics, and real-time data display.
- Operating temperature: 0 to 60°C (32 to 140°F).
- Shock resistance: 500 g, 4 msec half sine, with options for higher shock resistance.
- Power supply: 9-15 VDC, with remote power control and protection features.
- Data recording modes: Recorder or circular buffer modes available.
- BASE SLICE: Contains microprocessor, memory, and control circuits.
- ACCEL SLICE (MICRO only): Triaxial acceleration measurement with various range options.
- BRIDGE SLICE: Supports 3 differential channels with programmable input range and gain.
- IEPE SLICE (MICRO only): Supports 3 channels with programmable gain and input range.
- ARS SLICE (MICRO only): Measures angular rate with multiple range options.
