CL1 Closed Loop Piezo Controller (Nl cRIO Platform) Dynamic Structures & Materials, LLC DSM's CL1 is a robust, "plug-and-play", closed loop piezo controller based on National Instruments' (Nl) CompactRIO platform. The Nl Closed Loop Piezo Controller Includes: 1. DSM Labview User Interface 2. DSM Control Firmware (loaded on the FPGA) 4. Nl 9215 Analog Input Module or Nl 9401 Digital Input Module, and 5. Nl 9263 Analog Output Module Add the following for a complete closed-loop - Piezo Amplifier(s) - Piezo Actuator(s) or Stage(s) - Closed Loop Sensor(s) including: - Strain Gage - Capacitive Probe - Digital Encoder CL1 with DSM VF-90 Piezo Amplifier Installed Firmware / Software With the CL1, a user can control two independent channels of piezoelectric actuation. The system has options for both analog and quadrature feedback Each analog output can drive a low- noise voltage amplifier providing accurate, low-noise piezo control. The servo loop runs at 20 kHz, automatically interpolating input position targets to ensure smooth The software interfaces to a host computer running Nl SoftMotion.
