Functioning

The DSP 517 operates as an automatic pressure sintering press for metal, ceramic, or resin-bonded workpieces. It uses resistance heating and hydraulic pressures up to 300 bar. The process involves placing a sintering mould on the lower electrode, controlling temperature via thermocouple or pyrometer, and executing a sintering program with selected parameters.
