Product catalog summary
Main Features
  • High quality with precise control of sintering parameters: temperature, pressure, and time.
  • Flexibility with short cycle times due to direct heating of the sintering mould, suitable for small sintering surfaces.
  • Low graphite costs with closed vacuum/inert gas equipment.
  • Easy handling via touch screen panel and programmable control for up to 100 sintering programs.
  • Easy maintenance with accessible main components.
  • Includes graphite electrodes and clamping frame.
Options
  • Special cylinder with adjustable pressing force.
  • Electronic stroke measuring and pyrometer with manual adjustment.
  • Larger graphite electrodes and vacuum chamber insulation options.
  • Manual thermocouple box and active suction system.
  • UPS for PLC and barcode reader with handheld scanner.
  • PC control system integration for quality control and documentation.
Functioning
  1. The sintering mould is placed on the lower graphite electrode.
  2. Temperature is measured using a thermocouple.
  3. The upper electrode closes the electric circuit.
  4. Heating to dewaxing temperature occurs at low pre-pressure, with binder evaporation supported by air flow.
  5. The mould is heated to sintering temperature with programmable pressure steps, allowing inert gas flushing.
  6. After dwell and cooling times, the upper electrode is lifted.
  7. The workpiece is removed.

DSP 507-3

The DSP 507 is a sintering press which has been designed for manual, semi-automatic operation. It works according to the principle of resistance heating by means of electrical current and hydraulic operating pressures up to 300 bar. 1. The sintering mould is put onto the lower graphite electrode 2. The workpiece temperature is measured by means of a thermocouple which is inserted into the sintering mould 3. The upper electrode closes the electric circuit when it moves down. 4. Heating up to dewaxing temperature takes place at a low pre-pressure. Heating capacity is controlled in dependence of...
