CSP 100

CSP 100

Product catalog summary
Main Features
  • High quality with precise control over sintering parameters such as temperature, pressure, and time.
  • Flexibility with short cycle times due to direct heating of the sintering mould, suitable for small sintering surfaces.
  • Cost-effective with low graphite costs and closed inert gas equipment.
  • Easy handling through a touch screen panel and programmable control for up to 20 sintering programs.
  • Easy maintenance with accessible main components.
  • Includes graphite electrodes and clamping frame.
Options
  • Larger graphite electrodes available.
  • Special cylinder options for varying pressing forces.
Functioning
  1. The sintering mould is placed on the lower graphite electrode.
  2. Temperature is measured using a thermocouple inserted into the mould.
  3. The upper electrode closes the electric circuit.
  4. Heating to dewaxing temperature occurs at low pre-pressure, with controlled heating capacity.
  5. The mould is heated to sintering temperature with programmable pressure steps, allowing inert gas flushing to reduce oxidation.
  6. After dwell and cooling times, the upper electrode is lifted.
  7. The workpiece is removed.
Technical Data
  • Total electric power: approx. 85 kVA, with max heating power of 79 kVA.
  • Supply voltage: 3 x 400 V, 50/60 Hz, with other options available on request.
  • Cooling water consumption: approx. 90 l/min at 20°C, with recommended supply temperature of 15-25°C.
  • Inert gas consumption: approx. 500 l/h, with pressure at 1 bar, suitable for nitrogen, forming gas, and noble gas.
  • Suction system requires a connection piece for hose or pipe with an inner diameter of 60 mm, recommended air flow rate of approx. 500 m³/h.
  • Pressing force ranges from 22-259 kN, with oil pressure between 25-300 bar.
  • Graphite electrodes dimensions: 165 x 145 x 40 mm, with specific resistance of 12-14 µΩm.
  • Temperature control via single-channel thermocouple Ni-Cr-Ni, applicable up to 1,100°C.
  • Machine dimensions and weight: according to floor plan, approx. 1,800 kg.
Note: Subject to modifications of technical data and design.

Technical Specification CSP 100 for the pressure sintering of metal, ceramic and resin bonds • high quality - precise control of the sintering parameters temperature, pressure and time • flexibility - shortest cycle times due to direct heating of the sintering mould (typical sintering time depending on product 15 - 45 min) - applicable also for smallest sintering surfaces • low graphite costs - closed inert gas equipment • easy handling - touch screen panel - variable entering of pressing parameters via hydraulic pressure (bar) - programmable control with the possibility of memorising sintering...

CSP 100-3

3. The upper electrode closes the electric circuit when it moves down. 4. Heating up to dewaxing temperature takes place at a low pre-pressure. Heating capacity is controlled in dependence of the pre-set heating time and heating temperature. During this process, big part of the powder binder evaporates and, supported by air which flows through the inert-gas hood, is led to the suction device. 5. The sintering mould is heated by means of freely programmable pressure steps until it reaches sintering temperature. During the sintering process and also afterwards, it is possible to flush with inert...
