Functioning

The core drill tube is manually fed and automatically clamped. Segments are transported via a magazine belt and pressed against the tube by a gripper. Radial and axial run-out measurements ensure precise welding by a laser beam positioned by CNC axes. The tube is rotated for subsequent welding positions.
