Progress capture and release – in contrast to systems where a toothed cam is used to capture progress, RPM systems can also be used to control descent. Dual control – Prusik can be installed at the top and bottom of a system allowing control by operator attendant being lowered and operator at top anchor e.g. silo/manhole rescue. Shackle/Shackle assembly expands rigging possibilities considerably – e.g. backed up trolley systems with lifting and lowering capacity.
