Product catalog summary
Overview: The Flash Point Analyzer (Model: FPA) is designed to measure the flash point of oil products like light gas oil and kerosene, primarily used in oil refineries for process and quality control.
Features:
  • Explosion-proof construction compliant with JIS d2G4 standards.
  • Fully automatic operation managed by a microprocessor-based programmer.
  • Conforms to JIS K2265 and ASTM standards for flash point testing.
  • Uses a CDI ignition device with a ceramic electrode for reliable spark ignition.
Standard Specifications:
  • Measurement: Batch, spark ignition method with a range of 0~100°C.
  • Temperature Sensor: Thermocouple.
  • Repeatability: Within ±1%FS.
  • Power: Specifications depend on the controller.
  • Installation: Requires protection from direct sunlight and rain if outdoors.
  • Dimensions and Weight: 1500x800x1800 mm, approx. 600kg.
  • Sample Requirements: Max moisture 500ppm, pressure 0.4MPa, temperature below flash point by 10°C.
Sample Preconditioner:
  • Reduces moisture from 1% to several hundred ppm.
  • Handles sample temperatures between 20~40°C.
Controller:
  • Model U-32 with digital display and keypad programming.
  • Power requirements: 100VAC ±10%, 50/60Hz.
  • Outputs include contact switching and analogue signal for ignition point temperature.
Principle of Operation: The sample is introduced into a cell, heated to a preset temperature, and ignited until it flashes. The flash point is determined by detecting the pressure rise and sample temperature.
System Configuration: Includes a measurement system diagram and dimensions for installation.
International Operations: Contact details for DKK-TOA Corporation in Japan and their European representative office.

PRINCIPLE OF OPERATION 1 opens tointroduce sample and closes when the cell temperature drops below a preset value. Surplus sample overflows and falls into the tank. The above operation is repeated. Air is continuously supplied at a constant flow rate. The sample is introduced into the cell by opening AV1for a fixed time.Surplus sample falls into the tank by overflowing. When AV1closes,the sample temperature in the cell rises to the preset temperature tostart ignition. This ignition is repeated until the sample flashes. When the pressure sensor detects the pressure rise due to flashing, theIC...
