Overview: The CGP-31 is a handheld carbon dioxide meter designed for measuring CO2 in both gas and liquid phase samples. It features a power-saving design, allowing for 2000 hours of continuous measurement using two AA batteries.
Key Features:- Excellent Selectivity: Utilizes a diaphragm-type glass electrode method to minimize interference from other gases, except acid and basic gases. The sensor is relatively unaffected by humidity.
- Concentration Conversion: Allows switching between gas phase concentration (%(v/v)) and liquid phase concentration (mg/L).
- Memory Function: Capable of saving up to 1,000 data items with auto-save intervals ranging from 1 second to 99 hours and 59 minutes.
- External Device Interface: Connects to personal computers, printers, and recorders. Special software is available for data acquisition.
Specifications:- Measurement Method: Diaphragm-type glass electrode method.
- Measurement Range: Liquid phase: 1.49 to 1490 mg/L; Gas phase: 0.1 to 100%.
- Temperature Range: 5.0 to 50.0℃ for measurement; -5.0 to 110.0℃ for display.
- Repeatability: CO2 ±5% FS or less; Temperature ±0.5℃ or less.
- Response Time: Approximately 2 minutes for 90% response.
- Calibration: Two-point calibration using standard CO2 solutions or gases.
- External Output Ports: RS-232C and analog output ports available.
- Waterproof Construction: IP 67 rating when sensor is connected and ports are masked.
- Power Source: Two AA batteries or optional AC adapter.
- Dimensions and Weight: 68 mm (W) x 35 mm (H) x 173 mm (L); approximately 280 g including batteries.
Measurement Principle: The device uses an electrochemical principle where CO2 gas passing through a diaphragm changes the pH of an inner solution, which is proportional to the CO2 concentration. This change is measured to determine the CO2 concentration.
Accessories and Optional Parts:- Standard accessories include a CO2 electrode, calibration cell, calibration solution powder, ion strength adjuster, protection cover, electrode stand, and holder.
- Optional parts include a stirrer, external printer, analog output cable, data acquisition software, RS-232C connection cable, and AC adapter.
