Notched Swaged-On Hose Coupling Safety Cam and Groove The greatest advantage to using the notched Boss-Lock design is the fact that a coupling can be removed from a damaged hose by cutting away the ferrule without necessarily ruining the fitting. • After inspection to determine its suitability for reuse the coupling can be installed into another hose using a new ferrule. • The notched EZ Boss-Lock system allows you to better manage your inventory.
