All Solder-Vac™ systems come standard with a 2-ply, polyester ring panel prefilter and a filter hold-down grid. Primary and primary/final filters must be ordered separately. for most grinding or sanding, dust from mixing chemical powders, and smoke from chemicals, light welding, or similar applications. For soldering fumes, and other applications that contain lead or other potentially hazardous fumes, choose filter for solvent fumes, touch-up painting, or other applications with a high gaseous odor content, we recommend using filter F-987-5A or F-987-5B.
