How The Injection Self-Cleaning System Works The FRED™01-T self-cleaning system eliminates the need for costly maintenance and frequent filter changes. Compressed air is blown through the filter in the reverse direction, thus dislodging smoke and dust from the filter. The solid pollutants are then collected in a dust drawer or a hopper and empted periodically. The patented ICS (Inject on Cleaning System) releases shop air through a rotatng jet that is driven up and down by a screw inside the filter cartridge. The cleaning system is automat cally actvated each t me the unit is turned off....
