How The FRED™ Self-Cleaning System Works The FRED™ self-cleaning dust collection system eliminates the need for costly maintenance and frequent filter changes. The patented ICS (Injection Cleaning System) releases shop air through a rotating jet that is driven up and down by a screw inside the filter cartridge.
