Installation recommendations In order to do an appropriate installation of Capacitor's Banks you should follow below recommendations: • The Capacitor could amplify harmonic current if they are not specified appropriately. If the system has voltage harmonics higher than 5% or current harmonics higher than 20%, must install rejection reactors (IEEE 519) • In order to avoid In-rush current is recommended to install contactor with pre insertion resistors • The installation site has to keep dry • If capacitors are installed in a cabinet must install cold ventilation • Maintain at least 60 mm of distance...
