Product catalog summary
General Specification:
The 64128L Series LCD Module features a 128 x 64 dot display with a dot size of 0.40mm x 0.40mm. The view area is 60.60mm x 33.10mm, and the module size is 68.80mm x 49.20mm x 8.50mm. It uses FSTN LCD type with a transflective polarizer mode and a view angle of 6 o'clock / 12 o'clock. The backlight is LED with an external power driver and white color. The controller and LCD driver is ST7565R-G, operating on a 1/65 duty and 1/9 bias driving method.
Absolute Maximum Ratings:
Power supply for logic ranges from -0.3V to 3.6V, and for LCD from -0.3V to 13.5V. The input voltage should be between -0.3V and VDD+0.3V. The LED backlight supply voltage is 3.2V. Operating temperatures range from 0°C to 50°C, with storage temperatures from -10°C to 60°C. Wide operating temperatures range from -20°C to 70°C, and wide storage temperatures from -30°C to 80°C.
Electrical Characteristics:
At 25°C and VDD=3.0V, the power supply for LCM is between 2.85V and 3.15V. Input voltage levels are VIL (low) at Vss to 0.2VDD and VIH (high) at 0.8VDD to VDD. The LCD module driving voltage is typically 9.0V at 25°C. The supply current for LCM is 0.5mA, and for LED backlight, it is 60mA.
Electro-Optical Characteristics:
The recommended operating voltage is 9.0V at 25°C. Response times are Tr (rise) at 218-268ms and Tf (fall) at 115-165ms. Viewing angles are specified at various degrees, with a contrast ratio defined for both positive and negative types.
Backlight Specification:
The backlight has nominal dimensions of 68.80 x 49.20 x 8.5 mm, with a viewing area of 61.60 x 34.10 mm. It uses 3 SMT LEDs with a forward voltage of 3.2V and an average luminous intensity of 168 cd/m². The absolute maximum ratings include a forward current of 90mA and a reverse voltage of 5V.
Quality Guarantee:
The inspection standard includes functional tests, appearance inspections, and packing specifications. The AQL inspection level follows MIL-STD-105D with major defects at 0.65% and minor defects at 2.5%.
Precautions for Using LCD Modules:
Handling precautions include ESD protection, avoiding mechanical shock, and careful handling of the polarizer. Power supply precautions emphasize observing maximum ratings and ensuring clean power sources. Operating precautions advise against plugging or unplugging the module when powered and minimizing cable length between the module and host MPU.
Mechanical/Environmental Precautions:
1. Avoid improper soldering and use of flux cleaner to prevent display failure.
2. Ensure the module is free from torque and mechanical stress.
3. Handle the LCD panel carefully to avoid scratches and clean with soft materials.

◆ Storage Precautions When storing the LCD modules, avoid exposure to direct sunlight or to the light of fluorescent lamps. Keep the modules in bags (avoid high temperature / high humidity and low temperatures below 0°C). Whenever possible, the LCD modules should be stored in the same conditions in which they were shipped from our company. ◆ Others Liquid crystals solidify under low temperature (below the storage temperature range) leading to defective orientation or the generation of air bubbles (black or white). Air bubbles may also be generated if the module is subject to a low temperature....
