ETS-EVO² is a versatile solution designed to generate ultra-stable time signals such as 1PPS, IRIG-X, and NTP/PTP Serial Time Telegrams. Key Features
The ETS-EVO² is powered by an ARM Cortex A9 Dual Core CPU with 512 MB DDR3 and runs on Linux 2.6. It supports up to 500 PTP clients and 10,000 NTP requests per second per Ethernet port. The unit includes an integrated GPS receiver, multi-reference inputs, and an internal high-stability OCXO, with an optional Rubidium oscillator. It is compliant with NTP, IEEE1588v2, and SyncE standards.
GNSS Specifications
The GNSS receiver operates at 1,575.42 MHz with 12 channels and can track 12 satellites. It offers a PPS accuracy of less than 50 nanoseconds and an acquisition time of 4 minutes. The local oscillator is an OCXO with specified stability and aging characteristics.
Interfaces
The unit offers both AC and DC power options, SNMP protocol, and an integrated web server. It includes 2 GbE PTP/SyncE I/O combo ports, a Time of Day output via RS232, and various outputs via BNC and ST connectors.
NTP and PTP Specifications
The ETS-EVO² functions as a Master Clock Stratum 1 with GPS and supports up to 20,000 NTP transactions per second. For PTP, it supports up to 500 clients with various profiles and VLAN capabilities.
IEEE 1588 v2 PTP Input
The unit supports boundary clock functions and multi-sync capabilities, with profiles for frequency, telecom, power, and default settings. It includes VLAN support and the Best Master Clock Algorithm.
Synchronous Ethernet
SyncE can be used as both an input and output frequency source, conforming to ITU-T standards.
Network Support
The ETS-EVO² supports various network protocols including DHCP, DSCP, HTTP, ICMP, and more.
Mechanical Specifications
The unit measures 44 mm in height, 438 mm in width, and 295 mm in depth, and is designed for rack mounting in a 19”/1U space.
