EVOLUTION D M Ink Jet Printer Series High Resolution Egg Carton Ink Jet Printer EVOLUTION DM has been designed for printing onto the side of egg cartons. The DM is specifically intended for Diamond Systems egg packaging machines. Evolution DM delivers all of the benefits of a high resolution ink jet printer with a fully loaded software package and takes away the mess and time consuming changeovers of the contact style imprinters normally associated with egg carton coding. Inkjet Technology by Hewlett Packard Designed and manufactured by Digital Design, EVOLUTION D M is powered with ink jet technology by Hewlett Packard. This combination gives you the benefits of an affordable, compact, and efficient design coupled with the reliability of printhead technology by Hewlett Packard. EVOLUTION D M is complete and ready to install right out of the box. The system includes the mounting bracketry, an extended printhead module, remote product sensor and universal junction box for connecting power, sensor and other functions directly to the printhead. Mounting Bracketry A unique mounting bracket bolts directly onto the denester. This bracket allows in, out, up and down adjustment of the printhead and moves with the denester as it is set up for varying egg carton widths. Optimum Print Resolution EVOLUTION D M delivers bold, highly legible and fully formed characters in a print resolution of 300 dpi at production line speed of up to 200 feet per minute. EV-DM-AHD is a basic system that will print up to two lines of text. No additional software is included. Standard character sizes are 1/2” and 7/32”. EV1-DM-AHD3 offers a fully loaded software package which allows automatic date roll over in a variety of formats. It also includes time, sequential numbering, date offset and other software features. EV2-DM-AHD includes the same software package as the above system, but offers the ability to print up to four lines of text.
