The analog port simulates a PSTN – Telecom Line using the GSM Network instead of the Wired Line with a considerable costs saving. 2G GSM Gateway Lift Plus integrates also an RS232 serial port to connect to the Control Board of the lifts and to manage all the telemetry data. The last generation of Security Alarm Data Centers are able to manage the telemetry information coming from the Lift Control Unit. With these data it is possible to schedule all the preventive maintenance in order to guarantee the total operativity of the lift in any conditions. The serial port is connected on a DB9 connector (Tx, RX and GND) so that all data are sent remotely over the GSM network in a CSD data call (up to 9600 bps). DTMF NO Problem! 2G GSM Gateway Lift Plus also implements a sophisticated system to manage the DTMF tone on the GSM Network. This features will allow any centre to report correctly the DTMF Tone sequence avoiding any fails in the DTMF transmission.
