SIGNAL CONVERTER 520.11

Product catalog summary
Application
The Signal Converter 520.11 is primarily used for transmitting instantaneous values and displaying or recording flow rates in pipes. It is also utilized for various control and monitoring tasks through its current output.

Features
  • Snap-on housing for mounting rail installation.
  • 2-channel control options for compound meters, including infrared reflex pulse transmitter and two-wire proximity switch (NAMUR).
  • Front-panel programming buttons for menu-controlled functions.
  • Freely programmable input pulse values.
  • Filtered output signal options: 0/4 mA to 20 mA and 0/2 V to 10 V.
  • One floating output (make contact, open collector).
  • Electrically isolated measuring and supply circuits.
  • Self-test and self-monitoring capabilities.
  • LC display for flow rate, min./max. flow rate, meter reading, and menu guidance.
  • Optional M-Bus interface.

Function
The microprocessor-controlled LCD universal signal converter transforms pulses from volume measuring components in water meters into a DC current proportional to the flow rate. It also converts high-resolution pulses to decadic pulses and is programmed via touch controls on the front panel.
