An “ordinary” system can usually be installed and programmed without needing an electrician and/or expert. For simple systems with normally up to 5 doors there is also available a version of the interlock control system where the circuit boards are centralised in a separate casing. This simplifies the programming and mounting even more. The terminals at the doors are connected to the central just with flat cables with RJ45 connectors. That’s all. But the DICTATOR interlock control system can also easily meet very complex requirements as e.g. · time control, discretion control, · integration of access controls, door operators etc., · integration of emergency exits with a special and approved door terminal, · connection to pressure control devices, ventilating or similar systems, · connection to complex facility management systems. When grouped accordingly the number of doors can exceed by far the 8 doors of the basic version. Even doors in potentially explosive areas can be equipped with the DICTATOR interlock control system - with unobtrusive, elegant terminals which are also suitable for clean rooms. The circuit boards of these terminals are usually mounted outside the hazardous area in a special casing. The basic components of the DICTATOR interlock control system are described in the interior of this folder. All system cables of the interlock control system are pluggable. This makes the installation “dead easy” It is an . exception that cables have to be provided on site, e.g. for realising special functions. The DICTATOR interlock control system is very flexible, not only as far as the possible applications are concerned but also in regard to the usable additional components like locking devices, acces controls, door operators etc. Beside the products offered by DICTATOR like bar magnets, electric strikes, door operators, there can easily be used devices already installed/ available or prescribed like e.g. access control systems. Also the connection to facility management systems is possible.
