Design and Construction
DeZURIK V-Port Ball valves are engineered for superior performance in controlling fibrous suspensions, clean, dirty, viscous, and corrosive liquids and gases. They feature a one-piece construction available in flanged or flangeless connections, conforming to North American and International Standards. The design includes a locked ball-to-shaft connection for precise control and reliability.

Throttling Control
The V-Port Ball valve offers accuracy up to 0.5% over a full 90° rotation, with a splined and locked ball-to-shaft connection to eliminate mechanical backlash. It can be equipped with a smart digital positioner for enhanced accuracy and feedback in control systems.

Maintenance and Materials
Maintenance is streamlined with drop-in-place, self-aligning, bi-directional, and interchangeable seat options. The valve features stainless steel fasteners and a bottom access cover for easy disassembly. Sealed bearings prevent media intrusion, and corrosion-resistant bearings reduce shaft fatigue.

V-Ball Design
The v-orifice design provides high rangeability and precision throttling. The ball is available in high-alloy materials with a heat-treated nickel overlay for corrosion resistance. A tungsten carbide overlay is available for abrasive applications.

Flexibility and Compatibility
DeZURIK VPB valves offer face-to-face flexibility with ANSI or ISA dimensions, reducing inventory needs. They are compatible with various bolting options and feature streamlined flow passages for efficiency.

Construction and Components
The valve's heavy-duty cast body and common components with the Maxum™ RCV Rotary Control valve reduce spare parts inventory. Actuator options include PowerRac® or Diaphragm actuators, compatible with ISO-5211/1 standard.

Seat Options
Reinforced PTFE, rigid, and flexible metal seats are available, providing various levels of shutoff performance. The rigid seat is designed for abrasive applications, while the flexible metal seat offers shutoff up to FCI 70-2/ANSI Class IV standard.

V-Port Ball valves are available in flanged or flangeless con- struction to meet individual requirements and com- mon piping standards.
