SWITCHES & POSITION TRANSMITTERS Design & Construction Position switches can be ordered separately or combined with a position transmitter in one enclosure. They can be mounted directly to DeZURIK valve actuators and to positioners. The enclosure is epoxy coated, anodized aluminum. The explosion proof, corrosion resistant and watertight enclosure is available in Nema 1, 3, 4, 4X, 5, 6, 7, 9, 12 & 13 ratings. A screw-on cover allows easy access to adjust switch settings. Settings of less than 1° are easily accomplished with a hex key wrench. As standard, the enclosure is now equipped with two conduit connections. Open and closed position is prominently displayed in a wide angle viewing area. A prewired and labeled terminal strip enables quick, convenient attachment of field wires. Mechanical Switches The two SPDT or four SPDT switches are rated at 10 amps at 125/250 VAC and 0.5 amps at 120 VDC. The top switch is set to indicate the fully closed position and the bottom switch the fully open position. Proximity Switches The proximity switch is rated at 0.3 amps at 120 VAC and 0.2 amps at 30 VDC. The top switch indicates the valve is in the closed position and the bottom switch indicates the valve is in the open position.
