Application
The Dewhurst PA51 LED Illuminated Bodyside Indicator is designed for applications requiring a large, robust, and easily visible indicator to show door interlock status. It is visible from long distances, such as along twelve 23-meter coaches and from the platform.

Operation
The PA51 is available in various voltage variants and can be powered by most Door Interlock Systems. An optional in-line PA55 flashing circuit is available.

Description
The indicator features a tough neutral grey plastic lens for maximum contrast, sealed to a metal base plate with a mounted LED circuit board. It includes three arrays of high-intensity amber LEDs for long-distance visibility and wide-angle viewing. Protection is to RIA 12, with an option for EN50155. An optional cable feed and circuit can enable a flashing mode for the "Speak to Driver" feature. The unit is sealed to EN60947-1 1991; IP66, suitable as a replacement for incandescent bulb indicators.

Installation
Installation requires four M6 threaded fasteners and an entry point for the cable harness and connector, totaling five drilled holes. No special profile holes are needed.
