Application
The CX-Speech Module is designed to integrate with the Dewhurst CX-Basic Serial Encoder Board, providing audio announcements for floor identification, door operations, travel direction, and other information. It is particularly beneficial for visually impaired users and complies with Lift and Building Regulations. The module supports a large vocabulary of English phrases and allows for custom phrases.

Installation
The module comes with a loudspeaker and two line transformers, enabling the speaker to be placed up to 300 meters from the module. Optimal sound quality is achieved by mounting the speaker in the lift car roof or behind a grill in the control station. The module is installed in the machine room, and line transformers are used to minimize resistance loss and distortion. Volume control is included.
