The DT12 transmission features Intelligent Powertrain Management (IPM), which uses terrain maps to optimize engine and transmission functions. The system includes eCoast for fuel economy and Creep Mode for improved low-speed maneuverability.

3. Valve Lash Adjustment: Initial at 100,000 miles/2,565 hours, then every 500,000 miles/12,825 hours.
4. Diesel Particulate Filter (DPF): Ash cleaning intervals are 390,000 to 500,000 miles or 10,000 to 11,500 hours.
5. DEF Pump Filter: Intervals at 150,000, 175,000, and 250,000 miles or 3,840, 4,475, and 6,400 hours.
