The TROILBOOM BEACH is a lightweight, versatile shore sealing boom developed by DESMI Ro-Clean, designed for oil spill containment in various environments except rocky shorelines.
- Design: Utilizes twin water tubes for ballast and a single air tube for buoyancy.
- Materials: Constructed from 900gr PU or 1000gr PVC, offering resistance to abrasion, puncture, ozone, and UV light.
- Dimensions: Width (deflated) is 0.85 m; standard section lengths are 10 or 15 m; freeboard is 0.31 m; operational depth of skirt is 0.32 m.
- Weight: Operational weight is 3.2 kg/m.
- Temperature Range: Operational from -35°C to +70°C; storage from -60°C to +70°C.
- Effective in tidal areas, swamps, lagoons, beaches, and wetlands.
- Equipped with ASTM aluminium quick connectors for easy connection with other booms.
- Highly visible bright orange color for easy identification.
- Easy to clean with smooth parallel surfaces.
- Lightweight and more maneuverable compared to Ro-Boom Beach.
- Provides effective beach sealing and splash-over protection.
- Available in plywood boxes or reinforced carry bags for transport.
- Longer lengths can be supplied on reels for quick deployment.
- Auxiliary equipment includes air blower, water pump, tow bars, bridles, anchors, and ropes, stored in a service container.

The TROILBOOM BEACH from DESMI Ro-Clean is a lightweight versatile shore sealing boom which can be used in all situations apart from rocky shorelines. TROILBOOM BEACH is a special purpose containment boom that utilises water ballast. The water is pumped into two tubes along the bottom of the boom. This water acts as ballast when the boom is floating; once the boom is stranded these tubes sit on the ground and form a seal. The two fins running the length of the water tubes aid this effect.
