Construction and Materials: PyroBoom® features a solid flotation barrier with a unique wire-reinforced refractory fabric above the waterline and conventional GlobeBoom® fabric for the skirt. It includes glass foam-filled, steel hemispheres mechanically attached to the barrier, allowing for easy maintenance and repair.
