® DSEULTRA® STARTING WITH QUALITY. SPECIFICATION The DSE6110 is an Auto Start ControlModule and the DSE6120 is an AutoMains (Utility) Failure ControlModule for single gen-set applications. Bothmodules have been designed to work with electronic and non electronic engines providing advanced engine monitoring and protection features. Themodules include a backlit LCD display which clearly shows the status of the engine at all times. Theymonitor, speed, frequency, voltage, current, oil pressure, coolant temperature and fuel level. Themodules have also been designed to display the warning and shutdown status of the engine. Bothmodules include six digital inputs and six outputs. Two of the outputs are configurable on the magnetic pick-up version and all six are configurable on the Canbus version. Themodules can either be programmed using the front panel or by using the DSE Configuration Suite PC software. CONFIGURATION The modules can be configured using the front panel or by remote PC using a USB connection lead and the DSE Configuration Suite PC software. Automatic Mode • The Auto button needs to be pressed to put the unit in Auto Mode. • The module start sequence is initiated by the activation of the remote start input. • The pre-heat sequence is then initiated and the engine is started. • To stop the engine the remote start signal needs to be removed or the Stop button on the module needs to be pressed. OVERSPEED PROTECTION The engine over speed trip setting can be calibrated for 50Hz or 60Hz nominal operation. During engine cranking and for a user configurable time after the engine starts running, all alarm conditions are suspended to allow the engine to reach its optimum running speed.
