FUNCTION DESCRIPTION - DEPTH CONTROL After completion of the screw assembly our dual depth control verifies that the screw has reached the preset depth. The first proximity switch is activated at a preset distance and gives a signal to the controller, as soon as the screw reaches its required position = depth is O.K. If the screw depth is not reached, the first proximity switch does not give a signal to the controller. The controller notices the absence of a signal and outputs an error message = depth is NOT O.K.
